Alaa Shahin is a multidisciplinary designer, researcher, and the founder of Bio Design Lab in Cairo. With a background in Art Education from Helwan University, Alaa specializes in biomaterials, sustainable design, and digital fabrication. Their work bridges science and creativity, exploring how bio-based innovations can transform product design, architecture, and fashion. Through Bio Design Lab, Alaa fosters experimentation and research in waste-derived materials, paving the way for a more sustainable future.
