Founded in 2013, Karakeeb Makerspace is a pioneering initiative dedicated to fostering technological literacy and innovation. Our mission is to empower individuals—particularly those without a digital or technical background—to understand and embrace technology. We take pride in witnessing the transformative journey of our participants as they evolve from passive observers to engaged creators, driven by curiosity and creativity. Initially focused on university students, our reach has since expanded. Today, our workshops and initiatives serve a wide audience, from children as young as five to seniors up to seventy.
