Yahya El Hosafy is a multidisciplinary architect, master furniture maker, and educator with 24+ years of expertise in bridging design disciplines. In 2017, he founded Cairo’s Workshop, now hailed as Cairo’s premier woodworking school and a sanctuary for creative exploration, based on his vision and dream. He strives to ignite the spark of creativity within his trainees and believes that each individual doesn’t need to be a professional to practice design-related or creative practices. Yahya challenges conventional norms, empowering individuals to unlock their latent creativity. As a published architectural photographer, he further bridges artistry and craftsmanship through his lens, capturing the interplay of light, form, and material.
