About Danny

Mr. Giebitz is an industrial designer from Germany and currently based in Cairo, with a diverse career spanning academia and industry. He currently holds the position of Head of Workshops and Lead Program Coordinator at the German International University (GIU), where he oversees workshops and coordinates programs related to industrial design. In addition to his role at GIU, Mr. Giebitz served as an Industrial Designer and gained expertise in the field of additive manufacturing (3d-printing), CAD and in the fields of UX-design. Up to today, he focusses digital integrated development processes from the perspective of an industrial designer. Mr. Giebitz is also a member of the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ), a network that promotes design excellence. His extensive experience in both academic and professional settings underscore his commitment to advancing industrial design and fostering innovation within the field.
