Inside a Satellite: Live Assembly, Integration, and Testing of a 1U CubeSat, the SatKit! by Abdullah Al Salmani

SKU KA1 Category:

In this live demo, we’ll explore the fascinating world of satellite development, covering the basics of how satellites work, their real-world applications, and key orbital concepts. Using SpacePoint’s SatKit, a hands-on educational model of a 1U CubeSat, I’ll demonstrate the step-by-step process of satellite assembly, integration, and testing live on stage. Participants will gain insights into key satellite subsystems, including structure, electronics, and software, while seeing how these elements come together in real-time to form a fully integrated system. The session is designed to inspire curiosity and make advanced space concepts more accessible to youth and enthusiasts alike.
