Ahmed Elhefnawy
Ahmed Hefnawy is a man of many talents that may be summarized to being the founder of Cairopolitan, an Illustrator, Product/Graphic designer, Sculptor and Collector. Born in 1978 and raised in Cairo his entire life to then graduate from fine arts in 2000. Hefnawy jumped into the advertising field as soon as he graduated till he decided he's had enough in 2017. During his later years in advertising he worked in Leo Burnett as a story board illustrator, art director, graphic designer and a creative, offering new concepts and ideas while freelancing in model making and special effects. In 2006 the idea of founding Cairopolitan a design-based store and gallery began to grow, combining his art & design background with the experience he gained from his years of work. Hefnawy took part in several group exhibitions some of which, were "The Mediterranean Triennial, 1997" , "Horreyaā€¯ in Helsinki Finland and Cairo, 2013 and "Inktober Exhibition, Medrar 2016".
